The 3rd annual New York State Builders Show will be held September 11-12 at the Empire State Plaza Convention Center in Albany, NY. This year's theme is Sensible Green: Learn how green building will help grow your business from innovative builders and industry experts.

New York State Builders Show Overview
Not only will you be able to learn about building trends and the latest materials, tools, and building techniques, you'll be able to meet and develop relationships with the distributors with whom you'll be doing business. Single and multi-family home builders, remodelers, developers, subcontractors, and other industry professionals will all be in attendance to see the various suppliers and manufacturers. More than 200 exhibits will run the entire gamut of residential building and construction.

Educational Seminars
Educational seminars will be held throughout the show. These topics will include green building, how to make profitable estimates, avoiding large building and remodeling mistakes, and effective sales and marketing techniques. In addition to educational seminars, there will also be National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) designation courses that carry various designation credits with them. General registration includes the educational seminars, though not the designation courses, awards dinner, or golf tournament.

NYSBS Registration
The best way to register for the show is online. Once you get to the show you can pick your registration badge in the Events Center Lobby. General registration is $25 NYSBA members and $35 for non-members. That said, if you have employees attending the show, only the first two will need to pay for registration; the rest can attend free. You must register for the show by August 29. Cancellations must be received by August 15 and will be subject to a $15 cancellation fee.
