Here’s what a few of our pros are saying:

“Our recommendation to other companies out there, is to take this seriously and put all the necessary precautions in place. We supplied our workforce with copies of work orders in case they get pulled over on the roads. We’ve also shared our new rules/regulations with current clients and on social media in regard to the virus.”

“At this time of year, I usually cut my advertising back because I’m so busy with my regular customers. I don’t usually need the leads, but because of COVID-19 that’s not happening. I’m relying solely on my Home Advisor leads and those are keeping me plenty busy. We got 70 leads in the month of march and closed 40% of those equaling $100,000 in business. . . When this is all said and done, I’m planning to be bombarded with jobs.”

“The news is very depressing. I was a bit depressed too until we signed up with Home Advisor. They are running us ragged. It’s amazing!… This last week has been busy, our calls are up 60%. We sold 6 jobs yesterday in excess of $200k. A lot of people are stuck at home and thinking about the things they need to get done. If you would have asked me last week, I would have told you we were going to close our doors and let this thing blow through… We decided to pull the trigger and advertise with Home Advisor. We’ve been running non-stop since. It’s been a great blessing for our company.”

“We are continuing to work in unoccupied homes as those jobs become available. As in all business, communication is key! We are staying in contact with our customers so that we can reschedule jobs when it’s safe to do so. More importantly, now more than ever, we are checking on them (and they on us) to make sure everyone is as safe and healthy as possible.”

“Using HomeAdvisor’s leads I have been growing my business steadily since August. This pandemic has affected my ability to provide services to my customers. I just applied for the small business loan via the link you provided. Thank you!”

“I was laid off from my job two weeks ago due to COVID-19 so I decided it was a good time to start my own business. I signed up with HomeAdvisor a week and a half ago and I expect to be very busy over the next few months. My main concern is that my customers are happy. I am wearing gloves on the job and make sure I’m the only one in the kitchen and stay 6 ft away from the homeowner. The customers seem grateful. HomeAdvisor is definitely helping me through this time. HomeAdvisor is putting money in my pocket and supporting my family. I also feel that I am helping other people as well, which is an added bonus.”

“Things have been going pretty well. I started advertising with HomeAdvisor in March to endure the Coronavirus. I have a 5-star rating which is top notch. HomeAdvisor is bringing me leads. I have a HomeAdvisor lead that is going to be a big project. I was able to turn a $21 lead into a 25k remodeling project. I have a 95% close rate.”

“Home Advisor is working out great. I’d been working for a contractor for the last five years and got to the point where I was leading the jobs by myself. The Coronavirus hit, and my employer decided to close the business temporarily. I did not want to go without a paycheck so decided It was a good time to go out on my own. I was talking with a friend who used HomeAdvisor and recommended I try it as well. I’ve been with HomeAdvisor for a week and I’m already booked 8 weeks out. Whatever you guys are doing, please don’t stop and please don’t change. In time I will have my own crew.”

“We’ve actually been kind of busy. It seems that everyone at home is wanting to get work done. HomeAdvisor has helped us get some really good jobs. A lot of companies aren’t open right now, but we are willing to work. When we are in someone’s home we make sure to keep our distance and don’t shake hands. The homeowner doesn’t come into the room where we are working. We are locked in the room, they stay away, and we stay away. We don’t have much contact with the homeowner at all.”

“Every business is being affected by this Coronavirus. We want to keep all our employees, so everyone is getting paid right now. We are still getting service leads. No one is going to sit in a home that is 90 degrees because their air conditioning is not working. There is work out there to be done. The service jobs we are getting have picked up tremendously, but the remodel jobs are being postponed. I can say this personally, I rely on HomeAdvisor, especially right now. This is crazy what is going on, but homeowners are still using HomeAdvisor. We are taking precautions with employees and the homeowners. We have always been known for being super clean, wearing booties and gloves. We are now wearing masks as well. I started doing video calls with clients to see what is going on in their home. We also applied for the Paycheck Protection Program and Economic Injury Disaster Loan since business is down.”
